my senses dull
my mind clears
everything around becomes numb
the memory is all that i have
and the hope those blissfull days will return

an incessant thought of those days
when she was the one who made me believe
in the love that creates the life we pick
love that consumes the body head to toe

ever since then she has never known
what it has been like without her
i care barely stand to be away much longer
but i know that one day
those days shall return

I agree, nice use of words. It's a very well written poem. I hope everything works out for you too. Thanks for sharing your emotions here. Very beautiful.

patriotism has killed our brain cells and perverted negligence has injected us with a false sense of pride. you dont have to breathe american in order to belong.

Nice job! It is interesting how you described the mind sharpening and the senses dulling. I guess that is true bliss; it's not the mindless thing that has no self-control, which people sometimes bring out in us. I hope your blissful days return to you, too. Great poem.
